Muhammad Kutty
Founder
**Mammootty**, born **Muhammad Kutty Panaparambil Ismail** on 7 September 1951, is one of the most celebrated actors in Indian cinema and a prominent figure in Malayalam films. With a career spanning more than five decades, he has portrayed a remarkable range of characters across diverse genres. Known for his powerful screen presence, versatility, and dedication to his craft, Mammootty has received numerous awards and honors, including **three National Film Awards, seven Kerala State Film Awards, and thirteen Filmfare Awards South**. He was also honored with the **Padma Shri in 1998** and the **Padma Vibhushan in 2024** by the Government of India. Beyond cinema, Mammootty is widely respected for his philanthropic activities and contributions to society.
